Welcome

 TransPrint is a Sofia-based company offering translation and localization services. The company has long-term relations with many translation and localization agencies worldwide. Complete translation services are provided. Our translators are native Bulgarian speakers translating from many languages. TransPrint endeavours to achieve the highest possible level of customer service. Our standards comprise the best quality in linguistic jobs, implementation of the client's requirements and timely project delivery. In its strategy, TransPrint makes maximum use of IT technologies, with a special focus on Internet technologies.

The services we provide include:

Software Localization
Information technology has revolutionized the translator's working environment. Information technology not only offers us tools, but is itself a field in which more and more translation work is actually performed. This is certainly other fields like marketing materials, packaging materials, advertising copy and manuals. But in the case of information technology products, it is frequently the products themselves that need to be translated. Whenever a program or process displays a word or a phrase on the screen, this means potential work for a translator or many translators.
Multimedia Localization
Our multimedia localization services cover both audio and video. The work is performed in-house with the help of professional multimedia tools and covers the translation of pre-fab screen text, subtitling and localization of subtitle text to be laid on CD-ROM, DVD, either in-house or by customers themselves in graphic studios.
Technical Translation
Translations are delivered in the electronic format requested by customers. Word processing and layout as well as possible corrections after customer revisions are always free of charge. Our most important commitment is high quality of translation. Translation per se is a complex process and does not only consist in rendering text from one language into another. It invariably includes spell-check and proofreading phases.
Software Localization Consulting
TransPrint also provides consulting services to help customers in their own internal localization endeavors and contribute for the best results.
Localization Project Management
TransPrint's goal is to simplify the localization process so that clients receive the best TCO (total cost of ownership) and results possible. This presupposes good scheduling, resource planning and reporting, which, together with the input from our customers, help us to complete the work on time and on budget. The components of a software localization project include resource files, help files, readme files, screenshots and bitmaps, word-processing and DTP files, client-prepared file formats and incidental files.
Quality of Service (QoS) and Support
TransPrint's goal is to provide consistent and high-quality translation and localization services. The language process comprises all language-related activities such as:
Translation: A language process of translating a document from source into target language;
Editing: A language process with the purpose of identifying and correcting errors in accuracy, style, terminology and country standards. This should be done by looking at both source and target text;
Proofreading: A language process with the purpose of identifying language mechanical errors, such as misspellings, incorrect punctuation or failure to conform to company or client standards of usage;
Language quality inspection: The process of assessing the linguistic quality of a translated document by scoring a statistically-selected sample according to accepted standards;
Subject matter expert review: A language process designed to refine the technical accuracy of the translated document. It is carried out by a person highly experienced in this category, technology or subject area;
Stylistic refinement: A language process carried out by a person with a high level of linguistic expertise, with the purpose of identifying style errors and improving the overall style and readability of the document;
Run-through review: A language process involving operating the software by re-creating the steps described in the translated documentation/help. Depending on the project size and features, the above components can be completed fully or partly, separately or jointly. We strive to pay as much attention as possible to language quality following formal company procedures and providing feedback on any level throughout the language process.
